Embracing the AI Era, Empowering Organizational Evolution – Guangzhou EBM Management Team Attends AI Hands-On Training at Alibaba Center Guangzhou
Release Date:2026-05-18

Recently, Dr. Zhou Jie, General Manager of Guangzhou Evidence-Based Medicine Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou EBM"), along with Deputy General Managers Zhuo Jingxian and Wu Yanmei, and five core leaders from relevant business departments—a team of eight in total—traveled to the Alibaba Center in Guangzhou to participate in the two-day, one-night "Enterprise AI Implementation Bootcamp" organized by Maolu Academy.

The training was designed to systematically address common challenges that management teams face in AI adoption—including "fragmented efforts, unclear direction, undefined use cases, and superficial implementation"—and to accelerate the company's transition from simply "knowing about AI" to genuinely "leveraging AI."

Responding to the Times: Transforming AI from Awareness into Core Organizational Capability

Guided by the "Five-Step AI Transformation Methodology"—Set Direction, Find Entry Points, Build the Foundation, Run the Workflows, and Build the System—the Guangzhou EBM management team expanded their cognitive boundaries by "breaking outward" and re-engineered organizational processes by "reforming inward." The team acquired core skills in scenario selection, built a functional Agent prototype (Demo) on-site, and formulated a clear implementation action plan.

As emphasized during the bootcamp: "The first bottleneck in AI transformation is people, not technology." At the closing ceremony, Dr. Zhou shared her reflections: "I feel very fortunate that our team was able to participate in this bootcamp. Before coming, I had some apprehension about new technologies, but after these two days, I realize that AI isn't actually that difficult. After we return, the first thing I'll do is use it myself, and then—by refining our organizational structure and increasing sustained investment—I'll get the entire team moving."

By integrating AI tools tailored to business scenarios into their workflows, Guangzhou EBM aims to significantly reduce time spent on routine administrative tasks, allowing the team to return to its core professional strengths—more robust study designs aligned with research needs, and higher-quality client communications. Ultimately, clients will experience tangible improvements in "faster response times and more consistent quality," while partners will benefit from smoother collaboration through standardized interfaces.

AI Is Not an Option—It Is an Imperative for Survival and Growth

The successful implementation of AI depends not on budget size or model sophistication, but on the organization's commitment and methodology. Guangzhou EBM has positioned AI development as a "top-leadership priority," with senior management leading by example to systematically advance scenario screening, workflow restructuring, and talent development.
