On the afternoon of June 3, the multi-store launch meeting for the "Guanghua Xiao Chai Hu Granules Real-World Study Project" was held in Guangzhou, marking the official full-scale implementation of the project at the stores of Beijing Tongrentang Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Chain Co., Ltd. that were selected among the first batch of "research-oriented pharmacies."

A total of six stores of Beijing Tongrentang Guangzhou Chain were selected: Wuyang Store, Changgang Station Store, Kangwang Store, Huangpu Store, Shiqiao Store, and Xintang Store. The meeting primarily focused on mobilizing and training the store managers and quality supervisors of the above-mentioned stores.

Attendees included Li Yankai, Head of the Market Digital Operations Center of Guangzhou Baiyunshan Guanghua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Liang Xiaowen, Head of the Drug Research Institute; Cheng Mou, Vice President of Minet; Lan Yongfeng, General Manager of Beijing Tongrentang Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Chain Co., Ltd.; and Zhuo Jingxian, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Evidence-Based Medicine Technology Co., Ltd.

Guangzhou Evidence-Based Medicine Technology Co., Ltd. plays a pivotal role in this project:

1. Overall responsibility for study protocol design and ethics review, ensuring the protection of participant rights and interests

2. Design and deployment of the DCT (Decentralized Clinical Trial) system to support efficient collection and management of real-world data

3. Organization of personnel training and assessment to ensure the compliance and professionalism of the study

4. Provision of full-process technical support and promotion of the implementation of the group standard

Guangzhou EBM will continue to accompany the development of the research-oriented pharmacy system—patient-centered, data-driven, and research-oriented—helping to advance evidence-based TCM research toward a future that is broader, more professional, more credible, and more human-centered.
